Maritime Labour convention now stands

This article is taking a simple look into the main document of Maritime Labour Convention 2006 which now stands amended as on 2016 and entered into force in Jan 2019. No views or comments are made to the original content.

The Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) was held in the year of 2006 under the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and was adopted by ILO at their 94th session (maritime) International Labour Conference(ILC) in 2006. Further amendments were approved by ILC at their 103rd session in 2014 and then further amendments at their session 105th, in 2016. All these amendments are now consolidated to the present document known as “Amended MLC 2019”.

With this new amendments that include the 2014 and 2016 , adds the words such as "Bullying" and "Harassment" etc to the marine industry official vocabulary
